Description

The new table in the Sitterwerk Art Library expands on the idea and system of a true free-hand library, developed by Sitterwerk and Infomedis back in 2007: the shelf-scanning robot allows you to reorganise the books without losing their positions; the original table saves books and materials in reading lists for others to find. With the Werkbank a complete research workflow is introduced, with possibilities for adding two-dimensional digital maps, notes and scanned images to objects, a drag-and-drop print module, and a growing network based on intersections between books, materials, as well as people and their collections.
